I updated my fileserver from Edgy to Feisty this week. Instead of doing the usual search and replace in /etc/apt/sources.list, I chose to do it the Ubuntu-way:
sudo aptitude install update-manager-core
sudo do-release-upgrade
It worked flawlessly.
